Abstract
Our data demonstrate that subjective loss of memory as an isolated symptom would not be a sufficient indicator of cognitive impairment Consequently, it is advisable for the patient to be referred to a specialist for an exhaustive study using different evaluations (neuroimaging, neuropsychology, cerebrospinal fluid, genetics) for the purpose of identification and early intervention in the presymptomatic and prodromal stages of dementia.
