Abstract
The feminization of Neurology in Argentina and the underrepresentation of women in hierarchical positions are the local expressions of a worldwide social and cultural process. Extant estimations suggest that this discrepancy is being slowly rectified. Current female neurologist leaders are key in opening pathways to younger peers and in breaking the arbitrary barriers that they have encountered or will encounter in the future.
