Abstract
A clinical case study is presented on a 70 year-old female patient with lymphoedema of the left lower limb of 10 years of onset that appeared as a post-operative complication of total hysterectomy. After 15 sessions of acupuncture, there was a progressive improvement of the lower limb lymphoedema, more pronounced at the level of the knee joint, and also in the physiognomy and appearance of the entire lower limb. These aspects suggest the effectiveness of acupuncture in lymphoedema.
