Abstract
The results of the present study suggest a 3-dimensional strut plate applied to symphysis fractures provides adequate fracture stabilization with a risk of complications comparable to that of more traditional fixation methods. In addition, the technique has the added advantage of minimal manipulation and adaptation, which could shorten the overall operating time.
