Abstract
Cystatin C in a rural South Indian population correlates well with creatinine and cardiovascular markers. Long-term follow-up of this cohort stratified on the basis of Cystatin C will be extremely helpful in augmenting the utility of Cystatin C as an atherosclerotic risk marker in an Indian population.
