Abstract
GLP-1 receptor agonists have an important role in type 2 diabetes management. However, some patients do not respond to these therapies. We analyzed the results of two retrospective real-life studies, one with liraglutide including 215 patients and the second one with exenatide including 305 patients. The objective of the analysis is to describe the percentage of responders and their profile in each study. HbA1c and weight variation outcomes are similar with those of other observational studies and the individual response prediction looks impossible. Consequently, a periodic treatment reassessment is required.
