Abstract
Pedagogical evaluation is thought of in the plural. It is built on an inventory of the different beneficiaries and is defined as a decision support tool that integrates information from the control; it gains in articulating summative and formative dimensions in the service of a regulation of learning processes. The nature and objects of the evaluation are closely related to the pedagogical methods favored to achieve the learning objectives. It is available to evaluate knowledge, strategies and representations. A globally formative posture, which favors evaluation in the service of learning pathways, can, however, incorporate scorable, quantifiable and traceable summative evaluation times.
