Abstract
Most Colleges in the world and specially the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) approve the use of oral antidiabetic drugs, however their use is not recommended by the Collège National des Gynécologues Obstétriciens Français (CNGOF) and the Société Francophone du Diabète (SFD). Furthermore, in France, use of oral antidiabetic drugs for the treatment of hyperglycemia during pregnancy is not approved by regulatory health authorities. This article is therefore an update of the literature concerning the use of oral antidiabetic agents during pregnancy.
