Abstract
Surgical drains displacement is frequently encountered in patients undergoing digestive abdominal surgery. This phenomenon does not seem to have any clinical implications in our experience. When a benefit is expected from the use of surgical drains, an intraperitoneal fixation appears to be necessary.
