Abstract
This article presents the experience of an art-therapy workshop for patients with neurodegenerative illnesses. Seventy patients (45 women and 25 men), mean age 81.5 ± 8.4 years, were selected. Their mean score on the MMS was 13.5 out of 30 ± 6.2. Forty-two percent of these patients had Alzheimer's disease, 30% had vascular dementia, 14% had alcohol-related dementia and 14% presented other forms of dementia. Among these 70 patients, two clinical cases are developed to explain the interest of this type of activity.
