Abstract
So these perspectives may be summarized in a testable model that we propose based on the DCV and this explorative study (figure 2). The concepts influencing performance mainly residing at the Societal level of analysis; Policies (fig 2; 4), Structures (fig 2; 5) and Digital Information Infrastructure (fig. 2; 8) can be cast as new “Paths” in the DCV (15). The Inter-organisational Level introduces new “Positional Assets”; Alliance Orientation (Fig. 2; 1), e-Health Diffusion of Innovation (fig. 2; 7) and Problem/Solution Perception (fig 2; 9). Finally, all this shapes the organisations Processes: Process Orientation (fig. 2; 2), Business/Service Model (fig. 2; 3) and Organisational learning (Fig 2; 6). Alliance Orientation (Fig. 2; 1) “matures” the organisation towards higher levels of Process Orientation (fig. 2; 2) through Organisational Learning (Fig 2; 6)175
