Abstract
												The cancer disease exposes children to pain, which results from both emotional and cognitive sensory components. The prevention and management of pain requires a multimodal response which should combine pharmacological and psycho-physical interventions. A lot of non-pharmacological methods are now proposed to children with cancer to reduce pain and anxiety. This article proposes to contextualize in a first part hypno-analgesia compared to many other complementary methods and make in a second part a review of the different strategies that can be used in pediatric oncology, concerning hypno-analgesia, to implement care or reduce pain. In a third part, descriptive and practical information are listed to better understand the process and the mode of operation of hypno-analgesia.
