Abstract
Our results indicate that VEGF (rs2010963) polymorphism and CTC haplotype of the VEGF SNPs (rs699947, rs833061, and rs2010963) confer an increased risk of psoriasis in the South Indian Tamil population. Plasma VEGF levels are higher in patients with psoriasis, as compared with controls and are significantly correlated with disease severity.
