Abstract
- A systematic investigation of F18 in powder and fibre forms was performed according to JIS Z 2801:2010.
- F18 presented efficient broad-spectrum bactericidal activity against all tested strains (eliminating nearly 100% of CFU).
- Silver-doped F18 showed increased bactericidal effect against S. aureus, with eradication occurring in only 30âmin.
- F18 may be a promising infection-preventing alternative for wound healing and bone grafting.
