Abstract
Food-protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES) is an increasingly common form of non-IgE-mediated food allergy. Different phenotypes are possible, acute or chronic, with sub-phenotypes. FPIES manifested only by diarrhea can also occur. The incriminated food is primarily cow's milk but unusual food allergies are occasionally observed. The distribution of incriminated foods varies according to the different continents.
