Abstract
The typical profile of a patient referred to a dermatology specialist is that of a middle-aged female. Although agreement between the diagnoses is good, many of the cases which are referred could be treated at Primary Care level with correct training, which would improve the efficiency of the system. Measurements should be implemented to reduce the lack of responses recorded in the medical records.
