Abstract
The gradual increase worldwide in the resistance of GNB to the different antibiotics currently available has become a cause of major concern and an additional difficulty in establishing the appropriate empirical treatment. In this scenario we need the targeted protocols to optimise these treatments, bearing in mind the source of infection, where the infection was acquired (in hospital or the community) and local resistance of these bacteria in each center.
