Abstract
Burns are treated by cooling, cleaning, debridement and creating a moist environment for re-epithelialisation. Freeze injuries should be rapidly warmed with water at 37°-39° for about 15 to 30 minutes, and topical, medium/high potency corticosteroids can be used for radiodermatitis, if there is no ulceration and/or superinfection.
