Abstract
Photoprotection is indicated as a treatment in all photodermatosis regardless of its origin. In cases of low phototypes, children, receptors of aesthetic techniques, use of photosensitizing drugs and immunosuppressed patients, photoprotection is considered a primary prevention method, being secondary prevention in cases of photographed dermatoses and in cases of photoaging and skin cancer.
