Abstract
There are different tools for measuring cardiovascular risk, with stratification tables being the most used for these purposes. There are risk markers that add little to stratification and are recommended only in specialist assessments. Some images, such as calcium score, are a new tool for cardiovascular risk assessments. This review analyzes various tools for cardiovascular prevention.
