Abstract
In older, stable post-MI patients without cardiovascular risk factors, the annual kidney function decline was â0.90 (â1.16 to â0.65) ml/min per 1.73 m2. In contrast, in post-MI patients with â¥3 cardiovascular risk factors, the annual kidney function decline was 2.5-fold faster, at â2.37 (â2.85 to â1.89) ml/min per 1.73 m2.
