The effect of a multidisciplinary palliative care initiative on end of life care in gynecologic oncology patients

The PC quality improvement initiative was associated with more palliative care consults, increased rates of inpatient and outpatient hospice utilization, increased time on hospice, and fewer procedures in the last 30 days of life, although most women were not enrolled until the last days of life.
