Abstract
It is important than any women of child-bearing age with a neurological condition receive appropriate pre-pregnancy counselling and that during pregnancy they are managed by an experienced multi-disciplinary team including a neurologist, specialist nurse or midwife, maternal medicine obstetrician or obstetric physician and obstetric anaesthetist.
