Abstract
Pediatric hand-foot-mouth disease caused by human enterovirus 71 has been prevailing in recent years in China. As it involves the central nervous system, the mortality rate remains high. The diagnosis of EV71 induced CNS damage is the key to improve the treatment of severe EV71 infection. In our study, we performed neuroimaging in patients with severe HFMD infected by EV71 and presented our findings.
