Abstract
Radiographer screening for incidental pulmonary emboli was effective and accurate. It resulted in immediate communication with the responsible physician and commencement of anticoagulation therapy at the same hospital attendance, creating a “one-stop” service. Radiographer satisfaction with the extended role was high.
