Abstract
The population-based incidence of pseudophakic intraocular lens exchange has increased over the last 30 years, and can be explained by the increase in incidence rate of cataract surgery over the same period. Surgeons should be aware of emerging indications of intraocular lens exchange, which reflect changes in lens design and increasing expectations of refractive outcomes.
