Abstract
Based on standard in vitro susceptibility testing, VAN remains an optimal antibiotic choice for the treatment of GP endophthalmitis. AMK and CEF seem to provide equal GN coverage, but AMK seems to provide better coverage for CoNS, S aureus, and other GP bacteria, but not Strep isolates.
