Use of an Artificial Ligament Decreases Hip Dislocation and Improves Limb Function After Total Femoral Prosthetic Replacement Following Femoral Tumor Resection

Patients treated with total femur resection and endoprosthetic replacement with an artificial ligament for periacetabular soft tissue reconstruction had a more stable hip joint, better limb function, and greater active hip ROM than did patients who did not receive an artificial ligament.
