Abstract
Irreparable massive rotator cuff tears remain a problematic condition, especially for the young patient. Options such as partial repair or reverse total shoulder arthroplasty have led to satisfactory short-term outcomes but function can decline over time. Arthroscopic superior capsular reconstruction (SCR) provides a new alternative for joint preservation in these patients, and our early clinical results with this technique has been promising.
