Abstract
A comprehensive understanding of the normal pattern of skeletal growth is vital to orthopaedic surgeons to guide appropriate management when problems such as leg length discrepancy occur in children. This review explores various techniques used to assess growth and examines methods to calculate growth remaining and their application to the timing of corrective surgery.
