The importance and impact of patients' health literacy on low back pain management: a systematic review of literature

Building on these studies and the narrative review of other relevant literature, we identified significant gaps in current research addressing HL in the treatment and management of LBP. We developed recommendations for future research based on an assessment of strengths and limitations of available evidence-based studies.
