Abstract
Sensorineural hearing loss is a potential side effect of platinum-based chemotherapy. Pediatric patients receiving cisplatin chemotherapy with a cumulative dose exceeding 400 mg/m2, cranial irradiation as well as patients younger than 5 years are at greater risk of developing hearing loss.
