Abstract
Recurrent parotiditis in children is an uncommon condition. The onset of parotid swelling at 5 years or over deserves screening for disimmune disorders, sarcoidosis, or Sjögren syndrome. Diagnosis of Sjögren syndrome is based on diagnostic criteria.
