Abstract
Bone scintigraphy is a major examination in nuclear medicine departments. Its good diagnostic performances are widely used in oncology but also increasingly in the context of musculoskeletal pathologies. This article will focus on detailing the interest of the bone scan including single photon emission computed tomography/computed tomography(SPECT-CT) in the framework of complications arising out of the laying of hip prostheses. We will return to the normal aspects planar scintigraphy or SPECT-CT and then detail the pathological aspects. This hybrid imaging, combining the functional and morphological data, is a particularly useful diagnostic exam in addition to radiological imaging.
