Abstract
Preoperative scintigraphic detection of metastatic cervical nodes of thyroid carcinoma is exceptional. We report herein a case of a 45-year-old man, whose thyroid scintigraphy revealed cervical nodes accumulation of Tc-99m pertechnetate. Histological examination was consistent with lymph nodes metastases of papillary thyroid carcinoma. Postoperatively, the patient received 3,7Â GBq of 131 iodine with good control of his disease.
