Abstract
Industry 4.0 offers new development opportunities for surgeons. Computer-aided design and 3Â D printing allow for the creation of prototypes and functional end products. Until now, it was difficult for new devices to get to the manufacturing phase. Nowadays, the main limitations are our creativity, available spaces to test our creations and obtaining financing.
