Abstract
Within the pathologies of urgency of the maxillofacial territory, traumatic injuries and infections are those that most frequently require major surgery under general anesthesia. Patients undergoing surgery under general anesthesia in major operating room are mainly men, with mandibular fractures and submandibular space infections being the most frequent lesions in each type of pathology.
