Abstract
Ten years later (2004-2014), Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) and Dechlorane Plus (DP) in multiple samples (soil, sediment, road dust, and air particles) in historical locations of our previous work in Guiyu were still detected in 100% of the samples. Ʃ3-7PBDEs were still relatively great and a little less than or close to those measured in 2004. However, the air samples were significantly lower in 2014 than those in 2004. BDE-47, -99, −153, and −183 were the predominant congeners, which were also the predominant PBDEs reported in Guiyu in 2006-2008. Total syn-DP and anti-DP concentrations were higher than many other areas. Most of the fractions of anti-DP (fanti) (70%-80%) were consistent among samples. The health risk assessment showed that hazard indexs (HIs) of PBDEs or DPs for child and adult were all lower than 0.16.237
