Abstract
Organophosphate flame retardants (PFRs) and bisphenol A (BPA) were found ubiquitous in paired indoor PM2.5 and dust samples from nine kindergartens and two primary schools in Hong Kong. A significant correlation was found between indoor PM2.5 samples and indoor dust samples in the levels of TCEP. TPHP and TCEP in primary schools were obviously lower than those in kindergartens. Calculated hazard indices (EDI/RfD) were totally ranged from 4.8E-06 to 5.5E-03, showing no health risks to children.392
