Abstract
It is found that (i) the presence of m-xylene greatly inhibits toluene oxidation; (ii) the co-presence of acetone and ethyl acetate has a slight impact on their oxidation; (iii) the presence of acetone or ethyl acetate enhances the oxidation of m-xylene; and (iv) competitive adsorption of VOCs induces an inhibitive effect on their oxidation.202
