Abstract
The prevalence of idiopathic environmental intolerance attributed to electromagnetic fields (IEI-EMF) declined from 13.3% in 2007 to 4.6% in 2012 in Taiwan, but indicators of exposure increased at the same time, including the density of mobile phone base stations, the number of mobile phone users, total mobile phone calling time, and number of text messages sent through mobile phones. Nonetheless, we found the media coverage on EMF decreased, as in the prevalence rate of IEI- EMF.178
