Abstract
In this paper, we prove a formula for the Swan conductor of the image of a character ÏâH1(K,Q/Z) in H1(L,Q/Z) for Ï sufficiently ramified. Further, we define generalizations ÏL/Kab and ÏL/KAS of the classical Ï-function and prove a formula for ÏL/Kab(t) for sufficiently large tâR.
