Abstract
In continuation of [10] we construct weakly mixing and uniformly rigid diffeomorphisms on Dm, Tm as well as S1×[0,1]m−1 (m≥2): If a sequence of natural numbers satisfies a certain growth rate, then there is a weakly mixing C∞-diffeomorphism that is uniformly rigid with respect to that sequence. The proof is based on a quantitative version of the Approximation by Conjugation-method with explicitly defined conjugation maps.
