Abstract
The Pedra Verde Copper Mine is considered the first stratabound meta-sedimentary rock-hosted copper deposit described in Brazil and shares similarities with the syn-orogenic copper deposits of the Congo-Zambian Copperbelt formed during the Gondwana amalgamation.
