Abstract
This research demonstrates that UAV photogrammetry allows the qualitative and quantitative appreciation of the complex evolution of retreating glaciers at a centimetre scale spatial resolution. Such performance allows the detection of seasonal changes in the surface topography, which are related to summer ablation and span from the processes affecting the entire glacier to those that are more local.
