Abstract
In a mixed solution of Fe2+aq and Mn2+aq, Fe2+aq is oxidized to goethite and lepidocrocite by dissolved oxygen, and the catalysis oxidation of adsorbed Mn2+ occurs on iron oxide surface. The presence of Mn2+aq increases Fe2+aq oxidation rate and decreases iron oxide crystallinity.138
