Abstract
The implementation of strongly correlated oxides as thermally responsive cermets is reported in this study. The thermal stimulation of the metal-semiconductor fraction at the transition of VO2 is demonstrated as a reliable way to realize NIR light modulation with unprecedented amplitude.
