Abstract
Inhaled nitroglycerin significantly decreases systolic, diastolic and mean pulmonary artery pressure as well as PVRI without affecting systemic haemodynamics, and thus can be used as a therapeutic modality for acute reduction of PAH in children with congenital heart disease.
