Abstract
We conclude that isoform specific inhibition of nNOS reduces MAC and spontaneous motor activity even in nNOS KO animals. Our results indicate that the NMDA receptor-nitric oxide-cyclic GMP pathway remains a credible target in modulating the effects of isoflurane.
