Abstract
Dual-energy CT angiography for acute pulmonary embolism relies on well-defined acquisition and reconstruction protocols. Acute pulmonary embolism can be diagnosed on the basis of standard morphologic images that can be completed by the reading of two series of images generated from the same acquisition, namely monoenergetic images and/or CT perfusion images.
